He invariably puts her in danger, ignores her when Heather comes along, blames her for Heather 's bad actions. The list goes on. Hiccup is besides truly atrocious to Toothless. He treats him like an accoutrement, he pushes him off, he ignores him. This is the same Toothless who was Hiccup 's everything. He less of import to Hiccup than a manipulative marysue.Hiccup on Race to the Edge is atrocious to everyone that was one time of import to him. It was his relationships with these characters that made Hiccup sympathetic to get down with. These relationships that Race to the Edge has all but castrated. And for what? For the interest of Heather the marysue? Hiccup on Race to the Edge does n't merit either Astrid or Toothless.
